The Mystic Stables
        MISCELLANIA: SECTOR 5

Two creatures with glowing wings alight nearby, colorful as rainbows. They frolick and skitter up to you, introducing themselves as newlyweds! The lovely green male, standing on you left is Forest Shadow, who has eyes for no one but his new mate, Crystal Reflection. He is an Earth Ganra, while she is a Water Ganra, both from the Weyr at Dragon Moon. Excitedly, they tell you that they have just had their first clutch and one of the children has come to stay with them! More Ganra babies are up for adoption at the Dragon Moon - hurry and get one!! They are definitely very happy together and very happy to have met you. They also revel in being the first residents of this section of the Mystic Stables! Waving you goodbye, they call and trill in their native language, almost singing to one another, as you move on to explore some new hills.....

Their son steps into view over the low hill to the north and the proud parents call for him to come and meet you. He introduces himself as Fire Heart, a Fire Ganra and a new bondee to the Lady Azrielen and the third Ganra to inhabit the Stables. His parents beem proudly the whole ime. The three of them express great hope that more Ganras will soone come to live in the Holdm hopefully staying with their family, seeking their help and advce on life here, which even Fire Heart finds very pleasant. After your conversation, The two elder Ganra's excuses themself ad Fire Heart follows close behind. Waving you goodbye, they call and trill in their native language, almost singing to one another, as you move on to explore some new hills.....

Across the way you spy a deep gray Daeron mare munching away on the long grasses of the cavern. You vaguely wonder how grass grows so green and lush where much of the cavern is shadow. The mare smiles and munches, blissfully ignoring you until you walk tenatively closer. She smiles and nuzzles your extended hand, her nose slightly wet and cold. Her small pink tounge licks you fingertip and she nips your fingernail, making you jump and yell out in surprise. She hasn't hurt you, just caught you off your guard! She smiles a mysterious smile and giggles, swishing her tail. Around her neck bobs a thin gold chain with a little golden dog-tag. Inscribed there in tiny letters is "Rippling Smoke"...her name! Rippling Smoke giggles some more before turning and bounding off, laughing and playing with butterflies and wind....
        Rippling Smoke is a gift
        Daeron mare from Cynther.

You spy another group of creatures over the hills and move to investigate....and you stop. The mare has stopped, still and smelling the air. She looks dangerous, covered in horns and spikes...and then she sees you!

        And smiles....

You sigh in relief and stand up as she moves to grett you. "Hile, visitor! I am Wexuira of the Xenoba at Kiosko. My kind are from the Star Islands Zone, a lovely archepelago in the lost seas of another Realm. What's wrong? You look shaken, travelor. Don't let my appearance bother you. My kind are warriors, yes, and many of us very violent in nature, but I am not one of those. I only let that side of myself show in the hunt, for unlike some of the creatures about here, I am a carnivore. All my kind are! But agai, no worries, I much prefer little creautures like ground mice!" She smile wickedly and moves toward a small viney copse of trees. There you find four creatures munching the leaves, which seem to be growing back from their biting at an asrtonishing rate! A neverending leafy supply.....

The first creatures the catch your eye are small and bright in forest colors. The camoflauge-colored one, Wexuira explains, is the male, Chi-Eb, and the smaller brown is his mate, Kab-Ery. They are Taneks from the isle of Tanek. Then a loud THUDTHUDTHUDTHUD draws your attention up the steep cliff face beyond to see....*gulp*.....

A HUGE white creature is sliding headlong down the cliff face straight into the trees and.....another of its kind!!!! You didn't even see the other until now, resting as if was like a huge rock behind a vail of vines and underbrush!

As you stare open-mouthes, they gigantic reptiles, both at least forty feet from tip to tail, munch at the regenterative trees and ignore you. Again, Wexuira explains. "They are Therans from Lokk, huge beast with strong backs that are sometimes used around here to lend their strength to rock-pulling or harvesting. The white is Brelkiamonsomanishum, or Brel' for short. She is a very rare female, and the red is her more common mate Dribeld. Big, aren't they!? It was decided that I would be theri caretaker, so they stay here, with me." With that, the Xenoba mare gallops off to police her charges, leaving you on your little foothill, free to look about a bit more...

        Ratsequa - a gift from a friend!

As you prepare to depart, you see a flash of darkness to your right. Do you investigate the sight, or move on to other pastures.....

A shock of gold and green trees with purple bark, bedding in brilliant green grass catches your eye to the NorthWest. You could continue on into this lovely unexplored area, or head back, toward the rock tor of granite that raises up to the cieling, forming the cliffs of the Leaper Leys at you back, to the West.....
