The Dragon Weyrs

These guys are, from left to right, Magnus, Syphel, and Kintana. Magnus is a baby red Rainbow Dragon. His parents were lava and rainbow dragons...that is why he is red, like molten rock. Syphel is a White Dragon, born from two white Gas Dragons. She prefers the weyr chill, like night air, but we can't cool it down too much, so she bathes in the ocean every day to stay very cool. Dear Magnus and Syphel are still just babies, but they will grow to adulthood someday. This dragon species grows very slowly and lives a long time. When they reach adulthood, they will have their own weyr, and will hopefully become happy mate.
Until then, Kintane is their guardian. She is a widowed and childless Rainbow Dragon. She had nowhere else to go after losing her mate, so we invited her to live here and care for Magnus and Syphel. After thhat, she plans to retire to her own quiet weyr deep in our caverns.
