A tiny green egg lays on a small dune of sand, situated against one of the carved natural stone columns in the small weyr. It is very tiny for a dragon. A small golden plaque above it on the column reads:
Here lies a delicate egg of Vekleae. Touch not, fair travelor, for harm to you and it lies in such. 'Tis Earth Forgotten, the name of the young one.
The forboding and oddly-worded message catches you slightly off-guard. The egg rocks violently, shivering so close to hatching, as you quietly and nervously take your leave of the cavern.....
