The Dragon Weyrs
          LILLYTH

You enter the cave before you and are engulfed in black light, dotted aalong the wall in splashes of red and orange from dim torches. Suddenly, the light flares and you are struck by the sheer size of the place you are in. Your tiny gasp echoes inside the huge chamber. In the dead center of the chamber, a woman sits, utterly composed, meditating. She floats about six inches off the ground, leaving an innky shadow in the now well-lit room. She is staring directly at you, smiling tranquilly.

Slowly, she brings herself to her feet, no longer floating, but moving with liquid grace. Her small form had been in shadow before and you hadn't been able to see her well. Now you take in her full form as she walks slowly toward you, not slowing, but not rushing, either. Her hair is long and auburn, hanging down her back. It is done in hundreds of thin braids thats are drawn back from her face into a knot between her shoulderblades, before sliding down her back to stop just above her thin waist. She has strong shoulders and keeps her weight on the balls of her feet - you can tell she is or would be an exellent fighter. Her eys gleem a deep sea green that seems to absorb the colors around them. As she reaches out to shake her hand, her oval face smiles. She's not exactly pretty, but she has strong, willful features that command a deep respect. Her voice is an expressive alto.

"Hello, Wanderer. I am Azrielen, Head Impressor and Keeper of the CyberShelter. I hope you've had a good journey to this weyr."

You nod your head and say your name in a whisper, not wanting to disturb the quiet of the immense cavern.

"I'm very pleased to meet you," she smiles. "I'd hoped for a visitor soon and Lillyth loves when people say Hello." Lillyth must be the dragon here, you relalize. She calls into the murky darkness at the back of the cavern. "Lillyth! LILLYTH!" The ground is shaking suddenly, the sound of something very large moving echoes through the rock cavern. And then the green behemoth appears.....

The woman, now dwarfed by the immense beast before you, pats the mighty dragon's foreleg until the head lowers and she drapes herself across it in an attempted hug. You move forward and tenatively place a hand on the dragon. It wuffles at you and nudges you with its nose. It's head is as big as you! The woman lets go of the dragon as it curls itself on the floor, one arm wrapped possessively around the lady.

"This is the green dragon Lillyth. Lyllith, meet our latest guest...." she introduces you and the dragons faceted eyes whirl with pleasure. You pat its nose and make it wuffle again contentedly. "She hatched a while agao and only now has the cavern been ready for her. Sometimes our work crews can get awfully behind. But the cavern is finally big enough for her and everything is great once again. Lillyth has been helping us haul the rock ruble out to the piles on te other side of the island. She is very strong and can carry quite a lot due to her size! She's been.....Oh! We have to go. Lillyth needs to eat and I need to start my rounds. Being Curator is hard work...."

The young woman talks with you for another minute before mounting her dragon and waving, then teleporting straight out of the cava to the feeding grounds outside. WIth nothing left to see, you move on down the hall to where you hear the muffled sounds of other dragons fighting, talking and playing.....
