        		Here he is! Quickfire grew! He is a First Generation Quat, shown by the fact that it has a stripe of lighter color on a darker base. Second Generation Quats are more complicated in their pattern and coloration. He was one of the last Quat eggs left - I'm very lucky to get one. His name is Quickfire because of his color and the Quat reputation for lightning speed. Quats are kin to dragons, but distant kin. Their speed comes from many generations back when their species first appeared. They are reputed to have the ability to outrun a full-grown dragon in flight!
