Sharing the night

Letīs share the night together,
Weīll turn the lights off
And the stereo on, and let love carry us along
Weīll not talk, about forever
But only tonight.
Let eager kisses and brethless moments
Carry us away to their own special world,
And maybe weīll find some magic,
Somewhere in the love filled night.
Iīll tell you I love you,
But you wonīt want to hear that either.
Because your heart was broken once,
Well, so was mine.
So letīs not give up,
Donīt let the promises made in the dark
Not see the light of day.
Let the morningīs light
Find us holding each other tight.
And what we may find out,
Is that love is the blend of many things,
And heals a damaged heart,
From the hurt thatīs somewhere in the past.
So letīs share the night together
And Iīll promise you love forever
.... or just on day at a time.
