I think I know you...
I haven't played so many RPGs or video games in my life, but in the ones I've played I've noticed some similarities or resemblances in some characters portraits (and in one case, there was more than a similar character portrait). So here I'll post my findings... Let's see...
Alair and Lackesis (or Rackesis)
The first time I saw Rackesis (as called in the beta patch), the Nodian princess from Fire Emblem 4, I thought almost immediately about Alair. For me, they look quite alike. And not only physically. Both of them have a brother, but their circumstances are different: Alair tries to stop Lune, Rackesis wants to free Eltoshian (or something like that), who's been captured (at least, that's what I remembered, and I stopped playing in that scenario). But now that I think about it, Rackesis brother looks more like Alair (I'll try to find a pic soon)
Amy and Amy
Yes, maybe I'm a bit crazy, but I see Amy Rose, from the Sonic saga, very similar to Amy Sage. I don't know, maybe their short, reddish hair (although Amy Rose's is pink, but well, pink comes from red!). Alright, their personality is quite different... Maybe I should clean my glasses...
Alys Brangwyn and Lina Inverse
Alright, I haven't seen Slayers (just bits and pieces), but Lina looks like a younger Alys, in my opinion. I don't know if they are quite the same in what personality matters (they have some points of contact, like the money issue, but I don't know more), but they do look quite alike, at least for me.
