Could PS III become a dating game?
Let's be sincere: it's a possibility. Not only it was the only one in introducing a "dating sim" aspect with the marriages (even if it was very loosely), it also is the one with a huge cast (alright, split into generations, but it's the one with most PCs) from the first series of PS. Also, I think it's the only one (in terms of plot and all) that could become a dating sim. PS I lacks the amount of characters (unless one had to play like Alis, trying to seduce either Noah or Odin; and no, Myau is out of the matter, in case someone wondered >_<); besides, Alis wanted to avenge her brother, not to get a boyfriend. PS II has some characters, but I think the plot's too serious to put it into a sim-game. The gamegear games and PS 4 don't have too many characters, so they are also out of the question. So, the only one the remains is PS 3.
It's not so weird! There are a lot of possibilities for it! Let's take a look at these wacky ideas (directly from the wacky part of my brain):
1) Classic high school setting: We could put all the characters together in a high school, tearing apart the original plot. Rhys could be the "hero" in a male version, and I don't have an idea about who could be the leading female (Maia, perhaps?). The "Laya-Orakio" rivalry is still present, so that could difficult things up a bit (if Rhys pursues Maia, the King of Cille -school's director?- appears and... suspends him?). The game goes through the same generations as the original, and new characters could be introduced (I'd die to see Sari's daughter fighting with Sean!! "Your family is BAD! Your grandad left my granny for that Layan, and your dad did the same for that good-for-nothing cousin of his! You are gonna pay for all that!" =P)
2) Normal PS III with more interaction: already being done, wait until the two remakes (Kal's and Lysander's ones) are finished.
3) Discontinued time: "what's this?!?!", you may be asking. "A super, ultra, hyper wacky concept", I reply. Let's put it like this: Rhys and Lena are the hero/heroine of the game, and interact with all the other generations characters. It would be... odd, as the two Kara's would co-exist, and both Nial/Sari/Ayn, and Alair would be married and also still single! Aaaarghhh!!!! Guess I read too many times Toyo Ozaki's manga (in what concerns the "all four descendants" thing)!
4) Normal PS III with more characters: a mix between options 1 and 2.
5) Whatever the option you pick, it could have a "flashback" mode (or a bonus stage after clearing the game) with the "Laya and Orakio" dating sim! Characters: Laya, Orakio, Rulakir, Lune, Alair, and many more. Could the Layan-Orakian War start by a forbidden love?
Guess I ran out of wacky (or not so wacky) ideas. All for now!

PS.: No, I'm not thinking in making a phan-game (I've already discarded an attempt). If you suddenly think that this "wackities" (as I like to call them, I don't think it is even a word, but I like it =P) could be turned into a game, feel free to pick the "wackity" of your choice. (I know, the word "wackity" doesn't exist... or does it? =P)
