Mithril Locations

Here are most of the mithril locations and a brief description of how to get it. I have put these in the order you should get them. If anyone out there finds any more than the ones on this page, please tell me!

Mithril #1

This Mithril is located behind the Ancient Tower. Get it right before the first battle.

Mithril #2

Get this when you are breaking out of the Galam prison. Right after Slade shows you the secret exit, turn around and search the wall.

Mithril #3

Search the tip of the mountain. This is right outside the shrine where you get the Force Sword.

Mithril #4

Right before you board the ship, you must make your way through a ravaged Granseal. Search this hole outside the castle.

Mithril #5

In Ribble, search the center of this sandpit.

Mithril #6

Near one of the bridges on the way to the Hobgoblin's Cave.

Mithril #7

In Hassan, go to the dried-up port and search this barrel.

Mithril #8

In Hassan, to the left side of the town there's an opening in the wooden pillars. It leads to a chest, which will contain a mithril.

Mithril #9

In the secret Elven Village. Go around the town and you'll find this chest. (for detailed instructions, click here)

Mithril #10

In the passage to Creed's Mansion, halt before the stairs leading out. (not the way you came in) Walk to the wall, positioning your hero at the center point of it. You should go through the wall. You'll come across another black wall before you encounter the chests. Go down the center of this wall and you'll find a lone chest.

Mithril #11

After you leave Creed's Mansion, go to the north point in the mountains outside the mansion. (that's what Creed means when he says "Go to the north.") Search the center mountain and you'll find it.

Mithril #12

After you defeat Zalbard in Mitula's Shrine, search this chest to the right of the temple.

Mithril #13

In Pacalon, go to the room with all the weapons. Go to the farthest room directly north above it. (the room above the one with the beds.) You'll see a staircase outside. Walk through the wall where there's a tiny clump of stones. Then go down the stairs and search the chest.

Mithril #14

On your way to the bridge before Tristan, search this finger in the mountain.

Mithril #15

This is by Sheela's pond. Instead of going to the left of the trees (where you will find Sheela), go to the right. There's an opening in the trees; follow it to a chest with mithril.
