My summary and opinion of The Breakfast Club
"...And these children that you spit on as they try to change their worlds are immune to your consultations. They're quite aware of what they're going through..."
This is the best Brat Pack movie, it’s about a group of very different people who meet in detention. They are forced to spend a whole day together and things get very interesting. The group of students is composed of two girls and three guys. John Bender “the criminal” (played by Judd Nelson) he is kind of like a delinquent or a hoodlum but he is misguided and come from a very abusing family witch would most likely explain his behaviour. Claire Standish “the princess” (played by Molly Ringwald) she is the typical popular snoby teen who goes along with whatever the popular kids do. Andrew Clark “the athlete” (played by Emilio Estevez) he is also just a typical jock who hangs with his jock friends and picks on the weak, but he is also very pressured by his father to be the best at everything. Allison Reynolds “the basketcase” (played by Ally Sheedy) she is dark and more of a loner, caused by the ignorance of her parents. Brian Johnson “the nerd” (played by Anthony Michael Hall) he’s a typical nerd who is obsessed with his grades, witch is caused by the pressure put on by his parents. The Breakfast club is a great movie about life in high school it really demonstrates the act of different social groups and the differences between people. Although this film is very good and very entertaining it also shows that you shouldn’t judge people by their social standards and looks because you never know what you can find in a person. This film is an A+ movie, one of the best ever made. Judd Nelson’s performance is amazing, I have never seen anything that good, it’s probably the best performance ever made by him or by any other celebrity out there. For those of you who have never seen it (doubt that YOU haven’t) you should definitely go out to rent or buy it!.....NOW!.....GO!!

A few interesting facts: In the year 2000, the school in witch they shot the film was turned into a police station. The film was set in the fictional town of Shermer, IL, but was actually filmed in Northbrook, IL.
