| Today May 29, 2001 Jasmine was over at Grandma's and GrandPops house. She wanted to go see Baby Tyler and Cousin Jaymen, so she started walking over to where they use to live. Grandma told her that they moved away and now live in California, but Jasmine did not understand. She continued walking as fast as she could to the apartment where she use to go to play with her cousins. My heart ached as she knocked on the door calling "Baby Tyler, Jaymen". I tried again to explain that they no longer live there. But she just kept knocking louder and calling out their names. Finally I tried to open the door, and it was not locked. Jasmine ran in calling "Baby Tyler, Jaymen" in the empty apartment. She walked through the living room and into the dining room and then stopped in the kitchen looking all around. I walked behind her and reached down to pick her up. My eyes filled with tears as I told her again that her cousins were gone. As we walked towards the door, I saw Jasmine look towards the empty bedroom still hoping to find her 2 favorite playmates and cousins.
