Wow, not only is this one of the earliest Hendrix covers I know of, but its also one of the best!  The parent album is a mix of blue-eyed soul and pop, but on this single they show a major psych talent.  Penned by band members Bill Merritt and Doug Green, the flip side sports screaming fuzz guitars with vocalist Ronnie Plants sounding like his head is about to explode.  It's simply a killer track.
