Quebecois - Trans-Canada TSF-769

French-Canadian bands are difficult to research since most of the references on these acts are in French (and my French is extremely limited).  That said, I believe these guys started out as post-Les Sinners sinners.  The 'A' side ballad tapped into the massive pro-French sentiment found throughout late-1960s Quebec.  It's actually a pretty cool song even if the nationalistic lyrics are lost to me.  The flip side's a much more conventional pop effort with a bubblegum feel.  Kicked along by some nice horns and a cool guitar figure it definitely had commercial potential.
