I'm usually not a big Ike and Tina Turner fan since I find her performances to be a little too shrill.  This one's a little different.  Tina's still pretty shrill, but it fits the 'A' side's hard edge.  Musically the pounding flip side's even better, though the blatant drug lyric (how often do you hear the words 'joint', 'blowin' that grass', 'coke', 'stoned' and 'wasted') ensured that you'll never hear it on the radio.  Guess it's a pretty good reflection of where Ike's mind was during this timeframe.
