I've owned the parent LP for years and have to admit it didn't really do all that much for me. In fact, I didn't even remember they did a cover of this song ... Sonny Bottari turns in a nice blue-eyed soul reading and their Baroque-ish arrangement's actually kind of cool. A non-LP track, the flip side was actually the better of the two songs and probably would have done okay on the charts. It would have been even stronger had they lost the chaotic horn arrangement.
