This 45 may have been my initial exposure to psych ... 'I Am the God of Hellfire !' and what a way to be initiated into the cause! All hyperbole this is a 45 that should be in every collection. Brown never sounded quite as demented as on this one.
The flip side's interesting in that it's always struck me as reflecting Arthur Brown on a Motown binge. Definitely weird, but in an engaging fashion and the refrain is quite catchy.
