Propelled by Frank Washington's nifty lead vocals (and Harry McGilberry Jr's bass), every time I hear the 'A' side I'm surprised that it wasn't a major hit. Truthfully, both sides are among the cream of the mid-1970s Philly International catalog. It's kind of sad that one of Philadelphia's best soul outfits came to the Philadelphia International party so late ... Had they stuck with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff when they were signed to the Gamble label, these guys would have enjoyed the same mega success outfits like Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, or The O'Jays.
