This Memphis outfit should have been massive sellers, but a combination of poor business choices and plain poor luck left them as also rans. This is their second 45 for Hanna Barbera and their last with lead singer Louis Paul. The 'A' side's an interesting slice of jangle rock that recalls a cross between The Byrds and Michael Nesmith ... Great tune.
The flip side starts out like something out of the Peter and Gordon catalog, but when Paul's blue-eyed soul voice kicks in gear it becomes an excellent song.
