Like his life, the late Jimmy Reed's discography is a mess. During his career he signed dozens of recording contracts (many apparently simultaneously), so trying to make sense out of the results is extremely difficult. Needless to say, I have no idea where this single fits in the overall scheme. Musically this is pure Reed - a simply R&B shuffle. Not his best and certainly not his worst. I actually picked it up just for the fact it was a Reed 45. Don't seem them all that often anymore.
