Well, in spite of the group name, this is classic mid-1960s soul. The 'A' side is a totally killer slice of soul. I can also tell you that Eddie Holloway handled the lead vocals and that Rojac was a New York City based label ... Holloway sounds like his whole life depends on being able to get through the song and you start to wonder whether he will. Only complaint is that the track is way too short.
The easygoing flip side sounds a little bit like Sam Cooke had he hung out with the Motown crowd. Another killer hook that should've made this a massive hit ...
