Something's Going On - Atlantic 80018

Following ABBA's implosion, I think this was the first solo effort by any of the members.  Teaming with Collins was a pretty deft marketing move since the man essentially owned early-1980s radio.  Propelled by Collins' in-your-face drums and Frida's treated vocals the 'A' side cover of the Russ Ballard song isn't half bad.  It certainly generated plenty of airplay in my neck of the woods.  The flip side's a pretty ballad that sports a nice refrain but is killed by the heavily accented vocals - Frida sounds like she's singing this one phonetically.
