This demonstrates my age, but this little Moog ditty by Stan Free was one of the first 45s I ever bought.  Sure, today it sounds incredibly cheesy, but remember that in 1972 this was cutting edge and highly experimental to boot!  It actually sports a great little melody and it's pretty easy to see why it was a mega hit.  Interestingly in all the years I've owned the 45, I've only spun the flip side two or three times.  I actually have a copy of the parent LP (found it at a flea market), but have to admit I've never played it.
