The Voice of Scott McKenzie - Ode Z12-44002

I'll readily admit that my knowledge of McKenzie's catalog is largely limited to his first hit 'San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)'.  Like the hit, this one was written by former Mamas and Papas front-man John Phillips, but it lacks the former song's killer hook.  It's actually a surprisingly bland and over-produced ballad ...  Penned by McKenzie, the flip side is a pretty, but equally forgettable acoustic singer/songwriter piece.
