Anyone familiar with George Clinton's Funkadelic/Parliament catalog is probably going to be stunned to hear these two slices of classic 1960s soul. They're both simply wonderful and are a million miles away from Clinton's forthcoming funk kingdom. Great melodies and old school vocals make both sides must owns for soul fans. Clinton and company actually re-recorded the 'A" side for Parliament's 1975 album "Up For The Down Stroke". As you've probably guessed, the update is quite different than the original. Queen's Roger Taylor also recorded and released the track as a single !!!
