A Look Inside - Capitol ST-11074

I'd like to tell you this was a great single but it isn't.  South sounds shrill and uncomfortable on the big ballad 'Riverdog'.  Adding to the problem, it suffers from needless over-orchestration ...  The track would certainly have benefited from a simpler arrangement.  The flip side is actually far better.  More up-tempo it sports a nice slide guitar fadeout and some of that fake-sitar found on South's earlier releases.
