I Love My Music - Epic JE-35011

I recently saw Parissi on a PBS fund raiser and have to admit that the guy looked pretty good and didn't sound half bad playing 'Play That Funky Music White Boy'.  I'll bet most folks don't even know that these guys recorded anything beyond that camp classic ...  The 'A' side is an easygoing, Motown-influenced mid-tempo number that's surprisingly likeable.  Nothing exceptional, but not half bad either.  The flip side is heavily orchestrated and instantly forgetable pseudo-disco dreck ... yech!
