Comments | I'd forgotten how many Laura Nyro songs these guys had recorded and turned into hits (even though Nyro couldn't get arrested herself). Propelled by Marilyn McCoo's sexy voice (man was she ever one hot babe), the 'A' side's pleasant enough in an MOR kind of way and it sold like gangbusters. You still hear it on oldies stations. The flip side reached back to an earlier LP and is okay as a display of the outfit's impressive group harmony capabilities. The song's actually kind of lame. |
