Other than the fact it's too short, it's hard to criticize the posthumously released "In Memorium 1935-1984". Produced by Tommy Couch and Wolf Stephenson, the album pulled together ten tracks from Hill's 1981 - 1984 tenure with Malaco. Sure, we would have included a couple of different selections in order to showcase his soul moves, as opposed to the focus on his bluesy moves ('Down Home Blues', 'When It Rains It Pours' and 'I'm a Blues Man'), but that's a trivial complaint.
(side 1) 1.) Down Home Blues (George Jackson) - 5:10 2.) Bump and Grind (B.T. Lexing) - 3:25 3.) Wang Dang Doodle (Willie Dixon) - 3:18 4.) When It Rains It Pours (Bobby Patterson) - 3:37 5.) Giving It Up for Your Love (Jerry Williams) - 3:17
(side 2) 1.) Someone Else Is Steppin' In (Denise LaSalle) - 3:36 2.) I'm a Blues Man (Joe Shamwell - A.D. Prestage - Waler Godbold) - 3:31 3.) Please Don't Make Me So Something Bad To You (B.T. Lexing) - 3:45 4.) Everybody Knows About My Good Thing (Miles Grayson - Lamont Horton) - 4:53 5.) Get You Some Business (George Jackson) - 3:13
