How could my song of hatred be a love song?

How could I escape the feeling that’s so strong,

If all that I am seeing around me are traces from your mem’ries?

You are someone that no one could forget.

Now I could not play my guitar and look for the right fret!

You are unbelievable, my heart for love, you did set

And I, a lonely lover, your heart I could not get.

Are you just an illusion or what, my eyes can’t say

But still, to God I pray

That you and I be together someday

And together, hand-in-hand we’ll dance and sway.

But if ever you don’t love me like that,

It is enough for me,

That I’ve loved and given

And may I forget with the help of the heavens…
