Technical Data

This is the city of Lima. In this picture you are looking towards the west of it (towards the O.P.). You can see it's very big.
These 3 photographs were shot in late February 1997 with a SLR camera Minolta Maxxum 600si with a 35-70mm lens set to 35mm, 1.5sec, f/6.7, at 8pm or so. I was not in the uppermost position of the road but in a place where the view of the city is the best posible. The 1.5sec exposure duration explains the trails seen on the streets, very obvious in 'camino de subida al cerro de La Molina de Surco a La Molina'.
The rightmost photo was the first one shot (although marked 'tercera foto' for the sake of left-to-right order)....and the leftmost was the last one shot.
These photos were taken in colour negative film (Kodak Gold 400) of ISO 400; then processed in a1 hour lab., but in 12 hours. Printed on 'this paper manufacturated by Kodak' with size 4 x 6 inches (commonly known as 'jumbo'); then scanned with a Hewlett Packard scanner and digitaly 'pasted' to make one picture out of three.
This photocomposition is 143kb big, big for the internet, but not big enough for a very good quality. If you want, I can try to send you the 1.3Mb file....though credits remain for me! The explanatory graphic is deliberatly made to be of very low size (few kb) to save space and for a faster download. It may look odd, but it can be read.
Thanks to Andres, Fabio and 'El Primo' for comming with me to shoot this photo.
