I was responsible with one colleague of all the local AT&T GNS Swiss
customers.
The territory under responsibility
was the Swiss French speaking part of Switzerland (from Geneva to Bern/Jura).
AT&T services portfolio was
mainly based on:
- End to end network
services, focusing on systems integration and solutions.
- Outsourcing IT
infrastructure or services and consulting.
We had two types of customers:
Customers with the lead country/headquarters located in the
responsibly territory or customers having only representative offices and business
partners.
* For
customers with headquarters I was responsible for all the relationship between
AT&T GNS and the customers. Acting has the customer focal point of contact
I had to:
Identify new opportunities based on AT&T GNS service base
offering or build-dedicated solutions
Make technical design of service offered if needed involving the AT&T GNS specialists, technical teams or external business partners. Define the implementation and operational processes.
Write, present proposal and do all marketing tasks in order to win
the deal
Depending of the project act has the overall project leader or
after assignation of project to internal AT&T GNS implementing team units
act has the link between local customer project leaders and internal services
team leader mainly focussing on service delivery quality and customer
satisfaction.
When acting has overall project leader my duties were to:
- Define AT&T teams/people involved located in other countries
and coordinate service units or business partners
- All project management tasks in
order to provide the solution offered respecting the delivery target date
- Provide and install local
connectivity or devices for customer Swiss locations or involve local teams
- Handover of solution to customer
and AT&T production & helpdesk units
- Follow up services provided to
customer in order to achieve targeted service levels, maintain the solution and
propose new services to increase revenue
- Act at second level system
engineer or problem-solving leader when requested by AT&T Helpdesk or in
case of customer complains
* For
customers having only representative office or business partner, I was acting
has the local project manager responsible of all the tasks needed to provide
the service to local customer, my work was based on planning instructions
received from other AT&T project leader located in the lead country. When
needed involving local business partners or instructing local customer
responsible person or team.

System engineer in networking
services. Project manager responsible for national and international VANS
projects in the IBM Global Network services group. Responsible at all levels:
marketing, project management, relations with customers, technical
installations, support/follow, ….
Technical domains: network communications with use of value added
services (mail exchange, SNA (System Network Architecture), internet, intranet,
information exchange (EDI), networking, …) with all kind of hardware types (PC, local area network, routers, AS/400,
Hosts IBM (VM/MVS), IP servers, …).
Different roles:
Located at Geneva and Lausanne IBM
offices I was working in a team unit responsible to provide services to local
IBM locations and customers in networking, value added networking and
outsourcing services. The territory under responsibility of the group was the
Swiss French speaking part of Switzerland (from Geneva to Bern/Jura).
IBM Global Network services
portfolio was mainly based on:
End to end network services, value added
networks services, application outsourcing, communication solutions between IBM
locations and connectivity of IBM business partners.
We had three types of customers:

Acting mainly as system engineer I was responsible in the team to
install, maintain and support connectivity solutions for communications between
IBM offices or to IBM business partners (this program was called IBMlink)

portfolio to AT&T. I moved from IBM to AT&T like all my colleagues of

Before I was an engineer oriented
