Channel Pakistan, made its debut on the 29th of October, 1994. It is one of the most listened to FM programmes on Radio EMU with a multinational audience. It enlivens the airwaves with all manner of Pakistani music from Bhangra and Qawali to the latest Pakistani Music Channel Charts and keeps students upto date on activities in EMU and on news from home. Currently Channel Pakistan relays two different programes every week, the first, Pasha's Passioin, hosted by one of the founders of Channel Pakistan. DJ Pasha, plays the hottest tracks in Pakistan and is conducted in English.
The second, hosted by the other founder of Channel Pakistan, DJ Anjum, is in Urdu and caters to requests and dedications by the listeners.
Music Box, another FM programe hosted by DJ Kevin (Kashif Mumtaz), a Pakistani student, airs English music.
EMU will soon start its own television channel. The PSC plans to participate in it fully through a variety of programmes. The PSC will soon also start its own magazine.A number of programmes are aired by Pakistani students on Radio EMU, the local FM station of the University.
