Brian thinks in his life not only about music and the band. For a long time he was looking for a true love! And this feeling hunted him down when he practically didn’t expect that. That’s what Brian said about his relationship with Leigh-Anne in an interview for Polish magazine. That magazine wrote also that Brian is official engaged to 19-years-old Leigh-Anne Wallace for a couple of months, but he says it's not true.
”I know,
that I’m making sad my fans, but I've always repeated, I’m nobody special so it's
normal that I fell in love, too. I understand that what girls feel, but I hope also, that
they will understand what I feel. For many years I couldn’t find a girl to fall in love.
I was all the time alone. Maybe I was looking for her too hard and it was a mistake. My
feelings to Leigh-Anne suprised me suddenly - I didn’t expect that at all.
I saw Leigh-Anne for the first time at the picture in the begging of 1997, when BSB were
looking for models to our video „As Long As You Love Me”. Honestly - she didn’t
impressed me much. Although I’ve noticed of course that she’s really pretty. We met
each other just in July during the shooting of that video clip. And then something got me
started! When we got to know each other a little bit more, we’ve discovered that a lot
of things unite us.
This is a girl just for me! She treats me like a normal guy. For her I’m not Brian from
the Backstreet Boys, but just Brian. She sees in me a man, not a popular star. Otherwise
she has her own job and successes - her life doesn’t center around me. And that’s the
way I like it. I think, that independent women are very sexy...
I don’t know, if our relationship will be for a long time, but I want it for sure. We
both know that people, who are living their careers, just like each one of us, can’t be
really sure, what the future will bring them. We know each other almost 2 years. For a
year we were in touch only thanks a telephone. When we met again - during the shooting of
the video clip to American version of „I’ll Never Break Your Heart” - we thought,
that maybe it’ll work. We’ll see...For now I and Leigh-Anne are enjoying the present
time.”
