The Rock Climbing Section
I learned how to rock climb while in Utah on Geology Field Camp.  My Teachers were the two camp cooks Lina Moses and Bekah Hasalam.  I originally thought it would be to much work to be fun, but I soon learned that the rush and thrill of it made it well worth it.  Even the easier climbs can be fun and challenging.

During college in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, I started collecting gear so that I could take out friends and share the fun.  I soon had plenty of companions which made the experience even better.  I think the success of new climbers and the thrill they get is the best part of the sport for me.

I am now Climbing in Southern California when time permits (when the surf is small).  I have some new friends to climb with, but usually climb With my wife Ratih.  We are always happy to meet new friends to climb with.  We often invite our neighbors and friends from work.

We Found some new friends to climb with while working in Los Angeles.  A coworker at Spectrum Geophysics named Steve and his son Adam join us on occasion.  Adam does great but you can't tell him that, because at 8 years old he will not trust a word we say.  Steve does well and can't climb enough, he is always ambitious and interested in going some place new.
Adam climbs like a monkey but sometimes gets stuck like a cat
