Cerro Gordo/Death Valley 10/22-25/99!
Our Premier Fall event will be the Cerro Gordo/Death Valley Adventure. This starts in the real live ghost town of Cerro Gordo, where Jody Stewart will be our host for an eveninig of great food, stories, and things that may go 'bump' in the night.
We will follow the next day with a volunteer day on Lippencot mine road with Ranger Dan from Death Valley. That night may find us camped there, or in Mesquite Springs. Sunday we will wheel up into Nevada, and back through Crankshaft, or maybe Furnace Creek.
DUSY ERSHIM TRAIL
We have been invited to participate in this event. This trailhead is east of Fresno, and offers chalenges equal to the Rubicon in all respects. See calendar for info. This is a private trip, and is NOT affiliated with any club, or organization. Reply to trip leader for more info...
