Found in a cow pasture about 4 years ago this is my pride and joy. Up-to-date we have rebuilt the engine, replaced the brakes, and done minor body work. Plans include sanding it down to metal again and repainting it the original teal color and cutting out any rust (not much rust on body at all) and welding in sheet metal in its place.

Phase I

In this pic we had already sanded down the entire front and side of the scout and primed and painted most of it. The hard sanding was down with 80 grit then we eventually moved up to a 320 grit and 400 grit for a smooth finish. After we primed it we sanded it again with 400 grit to knock down any high spots. It took awhile to get the spray method down.. but about 1 foot off the body with a fast repetitious spray works wonders. Painting it on fast then coming back later to add to it almost eliminates pooling of paint.

Phase II

With the spray paint job finished and the top taken off this is what the old 67' looks like.

On Its Way

Now That I have had some time and energy to invest in the old 67' this summer.. the improvements are quite noticeable.. here she is...
