This day was better, by far. In the first moto I passed for the lead in the second corner and was running away with it until I lost it in a soft, tight left hander. This time I was able to get going quickly as the CRF cooperated in getting re-started. I started making time on 2nd place, and eventually caught up to him. We were side by side in a right hand corner, when I stalled the bike! damn! by the time I got going again there wasn't enough time to catch 2nd. So moto #1 ended with me in third place. Now moto #2 on Sunday was how they all should have gone: I was first place through the first corner, kept the engine running the whole moto, and stayed on two wheels. I was never challenged by another rider, and pulled about a 10-15 second lead, and won the moto. I ended up with a 2nd overall due to my 3rd place finish in moto #1. And that was how the weekend ended. I don't think I could have had a better last race of the weekend! see ya'll in 2 weeks at rounds 3&4.
