The JWA Scouting Report will on a semi-weekly basis take a look at a few individual wrestlers of the JWA. Keep in mind just because your wrestler is not reviewed this week…there’s always next week.
The contents within the JWA Scouting Report are my views alone, and not the views of the JWA President Paul Chadman or any other JWA employees.
In this weeks report these two-JWA wrestlers will go under review: War and Banshee.
War’s, been around for awhile now. He’s been wrestling since before I even came on the scene. Part of the Innovators of Violence, a stable that included the likes of the Prince of Pain Bane, he and the stable had much success in a federation called the XWL…
As many here call the "AOWF" community their home War called that federation his. Sadly the XWL closed and War along with the Innovators of Violence were thrown to the wind. At that point I lose track of his career, aside from the few brief appearances he made in the WCIWA and other federations within the "AOWF" community. However, whenever he did show up he was about a step away from being an explosive force…
He’s a talented hardcore wrestler with decent mic skills. A veteran to the ring who’s quick to adapt to his surroundings. He’s one of the few wrestler’s left today whose outside community experience actually hold value having participated at the very first ffg…he’s always had somewhat of a connection to us…
Now we find him in the JWA, and I can see him doing big things here. He along with a couple of others have the ability to create a strong hardcore division. His only weakness? A massive ego. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it hurts.
Sickly, disturbed…Did I miss anything? Truly Banshee is one of the most disturbed individuals I’ve come across. He borders on the brink of insanity, and with his recent actions may have already crossed that border…
Not to say he that he isn’t talented. A GWF World title and a BEW Hardcore title I think are proof enough he can handle his own in the ring. Add to that that he just received his very first defeat at ffg, and well it all points to one hell of a wrestler, but with his most recent mental state I begin to question how fine tuned his skills will stay?…
Well his ring skills in any matter. He still has the ability to crawl into an opponents head, and mess around with it, but all that means nothing if he can’t string together a succession of moves. Then add to that his recent departure from the M.o.A, and your left with a mentally unstable individual with plenty of enemies, and zero help…I begin to wonder how much longer Banshee will survive in this sport or even outside a mental institution…
For the time being though he still poses a threat on the World Title bracket. A threat to be taken very seriously.-
And another one bites the dust…I find it hard nowadays to find a wrestler to write about…Most have either vanished, taken a break, and or are stuck somewhere in limbo…
It’s a bad trend that leaves this writer without many subjects, but if I have to I’ll reanalize past wrestler’s. Any one else up for some more Mercy ass kissing?
