The JWA Scouting Report will on a semi-weekly basis take a look at a few individual wrestlers of the JWA. Keep in mind just because your wrestler is not reviewed this week…there’s always next week.
The contents within the JWA Scouting Report are my views alone, and not the views of the JWA President Paul Chadman or any other JWA employees.
In this weeks report these two-JWA wrestlers and one-stable will go under review: Styx, Jeffrey Drake, and The M.o.A.
From the very first day this guy stepped into the WCIWA I was there. I saw the beginnings of his first M.o.A, and then later I saw "his" M.o.A turn on him almost killing him. I almost cheered…
I don’t like Styx. Never have never will. Yeah, I’ll give him what he’s due, but nothing extra. He was a superstar in the WCIWA that helped it along in it’s early years, but it was not his house and he did not build it. It was built by someone else…no not the other ego maniac, but Ryan Magee…
I won’t dwell. Styx, is a talented wrestler, and a competent leader. When many thought the M.o.A should have fallen, like say a week ago, he has always had the ability to bring it back…Weather by his own hand or the hands of his most loyal. He’s been a world champion, he’s brought some incredible talent into this community of ours. I can’t and won’t deny him those things, but that’s were it ends…
As a credible wrestler? I deny him. He’s vanished too much and too often to even be considered an important factor. How he still has a stable, and how he’s still the leader is beyond me. Even more how he still draws attention from any of the wrestlers today is beyond me. Listen up kids…he’s not worth your time…
He’s not worth anyone’s time. He’ s a drain on society, and should have been locked up and or executed a long, long, time ago. Rape, murder, child abuse, theft…the list goes on and on. Protected by contracts, alibis, and just pure luck thus far…I’m wondering just when he’ll finally make that fatal slip up…
And of course wouldn’t you know it…Shawn Twilight, is retired and suddenly Styx shows up…Well isn’t that a coincidence? Styx, you’re a coward, and a fake. How President Chadman could have signed you is well…beyond me. I hope you vanish again…quickly.
A breath of recycled air, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. I saw The Charm when he first stepped into the scene…late September early October of 1997. Bequeathed to him? A rather large pair of shoes to fill. Misery’s shoe’s to be exact…
And true his first and even second go arounds in the wrestling world weren’t all that productive, but I still saw something in him. And so did the Charms. When he returned the second time no one fought him…they just wanted The Charm to lead them, but he was so young still and had no guide at all. The one that was to guide him, Twilight, well had turned on him, but even so The Charm still had that shadow of his mentor about him…
And so I’ll say here and now…Jeffrey Drake, isn’t the same man he was two-years ago. He’s matured and changed his attitude, and something else has changed too, but I can’t place it right now…anyway he is the next chapter in the Fatal Charm saga. From Misery’s rise and falls. To Twilight’s symphony’s. Now to The Charm, and all of his trials and tribulations. I wish him luck.
The M.o.A. In one word success…It is the most successful stable in this community to date. And I’m not looking at who’s been in it…or what it’s done to gain it’s success…I’m just looking at the facts…
Since about this time two-years ago the M.o.A has not stopped. It’s like a machine. And many, many, people have tried to deny the M.o.A any type of credit, but come on people two-years ago everyone said it wouldn’t last. A year-ago everyone said it’s got to end. A week-ago everyone said it is finally dead and I killed it, and ta-da here it is again…
I don’t care who you are, what you’ve done, or even how much you’ve hated certain members of the M.o.A…you have got to look at it and give it it’s due credit. It has stood in the face of defeat, drought, and constant roster changes…and laughed. Yeah I guess I’m pro M.o.A as a stable…weird huh?
But you know it’s one of the oldest parts of this community, and when it finally does burn out a little bit more of this community goes with it. Here’s to another year guys.-
And just one more to add to the growing list. A while back I almost stopped the JWA Scouting Report. I just felt like it wasn’t grabbing enough readers, but over the last few weeks I’ve received some interesting mail from my readers. They encourage me to continue with my articles. So for the ever growing fan base I have ;-) I will.
Special thanks to all my readers out there for keeping me going.
