Familiar music kicks in, and as "Running With the Devil" by Van Halen explodes over the PA, Bryan Mercy pops from behind the curtain, carrying a Big duffle bag. Bryan slaps a few hands as he makes his way to the ring, tosses the bag over the top rope into the ring, and tosses his belt into the ring as well. Bryan walks around the ring, slapping a few more hands, picking up a mic from the ring announcer, and rolling into the ring.

Bryan Mercy:"Please, please, please, I've only got a few minutes."You know, about 10 or so days ago, I stood in a ring like this one. I watched someone who I..... admired. Someone who I looked up to. Someone who I wanted to be like..... I saw him fall. I sat backstage, and watched as Forever ended."

"And I could do nothing. I was helpless then. I am not helpless now."

"I can't say that Forever was my mentor. I tried my best to emmulate him.He didn't teach me anything, but I learned all I could from him. My best match? Sorry Devie, sorry Jamie Williams, sorry you WACKY MANIAC, it was against Forever in That Other Fed's goodbye card."

"I sent out a hello to Forever in my last interview. Jon Clark picked up on it, and called me the latest in a long line of ripoffs or some crap likethat. Well, Jon, I've never denied that my goal for my career was to try and be like Forever's. But I covered that already. Jon, if you think that was wild, you should listen to my next few points."

"Let's go back to my previous points about 10 plus days ago. I was stunned to see Forever end. I was stunned enough, that I didn't check my blindsides in my match. By the way, did you see how awesome I was in the ring? Didn't I tell you guys that I'd rock the free world that nite? Anyway, after my match, I get jumped not once buy twice. By the remnants of the MoA, and bya man who may or may not be here. I'll never complain about getting jumped. It's part of the business. It's something that, well, paybacks are a bitch. That's the MoA. I'll deal with it."

"But, for the Charming Soul who got me afterwards, let me say this."

Bryan reaches into his bag, and produces a baseball bat and a football.

"Now, this baseball bat is the one I used in High School. This one was exclusively for league play. my favorite bat. This is for the next time the MoA crosses me. It will even things up a bit."

"This football is a symbol. See, I was All State my senior year. One of the reasons was, I never dropped a pass thrown to me. I never fumbled. I never muffed it. This ball, and it's past is, right now, a symbol of my wrestling future. Forever is gone. Forever is over. Somebody needs to pick up the ball and run with it."

"It's not gonna be Devie. It's not gonna be that tyrant Jon Clark. Banshee and Gangrene have their own Heros to hold up to. And it won't be no semi-Charmed kinda guy, no matter how badly he thinks he'll get it."

"But, I see this director guy down front frantically waving his arms.Apparently, he wants me to talk a bit more about the Pay Per View coming up. So be it. I've got a Main Event to hype."

"Jon and Devie, fight all you want. Just, whatever you do, make sure you bring my title to the PPV, we'll hang it above the ring, and we'll breakout the special Bryan Mercy 12 foot ladder and kick some ass. See, I'm not gonna say anything about it being my time or shit like that. Fact is, I'm still the Greatest Athlete in Wrestling. I'm NOW the Greatest Show in Wrestling."

"Forever once said that 'no finer song was ever written'..... well, we cansee the end of that song in sight. My song is still a work in progress."

"My song will be the masterpiece. My career will be the hilight. My future,is your demise."

"Bring my title. And bring your A-stuff. I don't want any excuses when I beat you."

Brian rolls out of the ring, takes his title and bag, and walks to the back.
