PRIMETIME September 25, 1998 ...

I would like every one to give Guy Gagne a warm welcome: Thank you.
Scoop: Are you happy at LPPF? Why did you make the jump from LOD to LPPF?
Guy: LPPF is the place to be. Don't get me wrong, I loved being in LOD and concider myself a member without initials because the LPPF is my top priority. Now some of them, the ones I'm closest with, Eric Lindsay & Terry Gamble are with LPPF as well.
Scoop: What would you say was your worst moment in the IWA?
Guy: My worst moment, ummm, before 1994 I was going nowhere. In the KKL I've had some bad times with LK due to some betrayls, but I've kept LK alive anyways but only in the KKL.
Scoop: Which would you say was your best? What was your greatest Acomplishment?
Guy: My biggest high was winning the 1994 Immagirumble, the competition was phenominal. Some of the IWA's best squared off and I got to qualify then win the tournament. Best thing is since the IWA never held a second tourney, I'm still Immagirumble Champion after 4 years. I've also done well in the ladies' leagues with Queen Robin who's held every Major including being the first QotR. Lady Kelly lacks the World Title to complete her conquest of the majors.
Scoop: With who would you say you had your greatest fued with?
Guy: MI, particularly Million $ Champ {James Hodgkin} in the KKL. It's been going on for years. We've gained a mutual respect but the battle rages on.
Scoop: How do you think the IWA is running things? Do you like it or think they could do better?
Guy: There's always room for improvement, but the IWA do an exceptional job. I mean, it can't be easy to operate a promotion on this level for so long, successfully. I particularly enjoy the creation of a Canadian League {GCL}.
Scoop: In your opinion since so many stables claim to be #1, Which 5 stables you think are the best from worst to best?
Guy: This one's tough because I don't co-exist in leagues with all the major players since I'm in only four leagues. I can attest to PRO's proficiency because my women feud with theirs in the VAL.
Scoop: Give me your thoughts on some top stables...MOD, LPPF, PRO, SOD, UKA , & EDGE?
Guy: MOD = A decent stable with great talent. LPPF = Simply the greatest, over the long haul. Legends in the game & some future legends as well. PRO = A major player at the moment. I feud with them in the VAL and they talk a good game but they back it up too. Lewis especially. SOD = Not the same SOD I was assossiated with a couple of years back. These guys I know little about but they make their mark on the IWA. UKA = Feuded with these guys years ago. A tough bunch back then. Right now we have a neutral status. They have some talent and experience in their camp. Always a threat, always in the picture. EDGE = I know little about these guys as well. Met one in the VAL which was successful but you can't judge a stable by one member.
Scoop: Who would you say is the Hottest manager right now in the IWA?
Guy: Lewis Podlaszewski has had a great run in '98.
Scoop: Which stable you think is overlooked?
Guy: MI, I've had my hands full with these guys since I joined the IWA, many classic battles in the KKL.
Scoop: Who would you like to team up before you retire?
Guy: Mike Paciga, Ken Lee, Keith Maple, Jim Adelson, Eric Takett, Keith Cooper, ???
Scoop: This next question is a little wierd but , I am interested on what you would say... If you were able to hand pick your self a dream stable what would you line up be?
Guy: The LPPF is pretty close to that, bring back Dave White & Eric Takett, add Michael Belcher, and maybe Lewis Podlaszewski, Keith Cooper (we had some great exchanges over the TSL Six-man Titles.
