Looks were not nearly as important as performance. In most cases the attack lines come off the front bumper. The roof mounted forward facing flood is prepositioned along with three others to insure 360 degree illumination all around the unit with the flip of a switch in the cab. The front facing arrow stick has turned out to be an excellent warning light and is used 50% of the time for directing traffic. If it makes sense to have one on the back it makes just as much sense to have one up front.
Engine 2
Off set dual guns were tested so severely during construction both were torn off. They passed the same test later on! We even destroyed a ladder rack in testing.
