An exhibit on the Kapampangan participation in the Philippine Revolution
ONGOING AT THE CENTER FOR KAPAMPANGAN STUDIES

While the Macabebes may have sided with the Spaniards during the Revolution
and with Americans during the Philippine-American War, the rest of the
Kapampangan Region (Pampanga and Tarlac) joined their compatriots in the
struggle for independence

On 9 October 1898, President Emilio Aguinaldo and his cabinet visits San Fernando
to attend the celebration commemorating the declaration of Philippine independence.
