Battery Clagett had two 3-inch masking parapet guns. Named after
Lt Levi Clagett who was killed during the defense of Fort McHenry in 1814.

Battery Lazear had two 3-inch masking parapet guns. Named after
Doctor Jesse W Lazear, a Baltimore citizen, who died in 1900 of yellow fever
while in Cuba. This battery no longer exists. The location in on the grounds
of the Veterans Hospital and was situated between Battery Nicholson and the Mine
Tower pedestal (on the hospital side of the fence).
The old wharf extended out from between Lazear and Nicholson.
