THE LEANTO LODGE

All my life I dreamed of owning a camp in the woods.I finally bought one in 1983.I wanted a real camp instead of a thrown together leanto that I usually used during hunting season.
When I had a good look at this place,I realized that it was a not in the best of shape.There were holes in the floor and things were leaning every-which-a-way.Right then I decided that I should call it "The Leanto Lodge".



The pictures below were taken after I did a major cleaning up of the whole property.


It wasn`t long after the clean up that my wife decided that she was meant to live in the country.We packed our kids and our cat and moved in. After this "Leanto Lodge" began looking like a home.
I guess that I don`t have a "camp"anymore but I don`t regret it either.We have had some really good times up here and I`m happy we live here.
