Back in the mid-nineties when I had newly discovered American
Tribal Style (ATS) belly dance*, I was so excited that I'd phone my dance pal, we'd synch up
our Fat Chance Belly Dance (FCBD)
videos, and we'd chatter on for hours about what we saw on the
tape and the possibilities we saw dawning on our dance horizons.
Invariably, one of us would say,
"Did you see that?"
Quickly we'd rewind to the segment of tape, eager anticipation
filling our respective living rooms. We visually dissected the
costuming. We soaked up the knowledge like sponges. We couldn't get
enough! |
