When hope is altered and threatened, we feel the end of our existence. A poignant realization it sounds, life ceases to exist. We therefore should not allow darkness to loom over us. We are better than this. There is so much to consider before void pervades our thoughts and for that, hope brings us to a renewed level. When death haunts us, there is hope even beyond it. Life certainly doesn't end when consciousness takes its last breath. We do travel a path of infinitum, over there, somewhere where the mind cannot reach. Which brings me to talk about the beyond. What makes it so magical? Is it because there is no definite answer for such a state? Is it the weariness of our thoughts, when things and ideas are halted because the boundary of the beyond becomes reached? How can we tell if we are transgressing or not? Indeed I am puzzled with all these queries. But I might wonder if the beyond gives us this sense of hope. Yes it is hope in its grandest form. When we cannot fill our minds because of life's limitations, certainly wondering about the beyond attests an excited state. There is an awakened, curious soul awaiting recognition. In this case I suggest that if our thinking of the beyond is enhanced and practiced even more, the cycle of death and destruction becomes irrelevant. It is belittled or nullified or thought of as a passing movement, just like your next meal or your next trip downtown. I remember a dialogue from a movie: We don't own anything in this world, we are only passing through. Yes, everything is transitory. When we are carried on to the next level of existence, hope is reborn and incorporated once again. It is here in our midst and wanting to be noticed.
