Rev. John Quincy Adams was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, February 25, 1825; was liberally educated; ordained pastor of Bloomfield church, New Jersey, January 31, 1849. He has had charge of the Keyport church, New Jersey, and of the North, Antioch, and Cannon Street churches in New York City. He has published a number of religious works. Eleven years ago he had baptized 540 persons, nine of whom became ordained ministers.
