God, our most endearing Father. In your Divine Providence, You guide your faithful people in the path of salvation, directing them gently and firmly in their pilgrimage to the Promised Land.

In the fullness of time, through the action of the Holy Spirit and the assent of Mary, You sent us your only Son Jesus Christ Who revealed Himself as the Good Shepherd, calling us to His sheepfold the Church, telling us to remain therein in His love, asking us to follow Him in caring for and in serving one another.

O Jesus, our Good Shepherd, we now fervently pray for your special care as we celebrate the Vicariate Executive Assembly.

We fervently implore you:

Enable us all to heed your call to be healed, to be whole, to be holy, to be believers.

Lead all the Participants in the Assembly along the path of wisdom, solidarity and charity that they may have greater knowledge of, corporate formation on and consequent strong commitment to implement the Vicariate agenda as envisioned by the Archdiocesan Pastoral Assembly of 1996.

Continue to enlighten and strengthen our Clergy, Religious and Lay Leaders in the Church that they may be able to actualize the “New Way of Being Church” in the Archdiocese by the participation of and communion among the Christian faithful through their effective assumption of their respective prophetic, priestly and kingly mission of Christ.

Finally, with the maternal accompaniment of the Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of Apostles, grant Almighty Father that through this Vicariate Executive Assembly empowering our Clergy, Religious and Laity, ours will ultimately become a truly serving, worshipping, witnessing and evangelizing community, through Christ our Lord.
