When Halloween rolled around we were beside ourselves with anticipation. This year I dressed up as a gypsy. Looks like Bruce was a devil. Bruce and I remember going from house to house, sometimes being invited in for donuts and hot cider. The decorations were wonderful. Treats were full-sized candy bars, caramel apples, home made donuts. We ran home to empty our pillow cases and went out for more. My entire bottom dresser drawer was filled with candy. I don’t remember how long it took to eat it all, but I’m sure it was a while.
